Westbourne Mom's Cinnamon Rolls--saved the best for last--picture taken at 7:15 this morning. It's a beautiful bouquet of four on the scape.

Forbidden Fantasy Re-bloom on a 1 fan plant

I have some 1 fan seedlings reblooming also. Pretty impressive, isn't it?!!!

I have more repeats, still seeing new scapes pop up. My 'Optical Delight' has had a series of rebloom scapes and I thought it was about finally finished for the year, but it is sending up a new scape.

Rebloom started today on 'Liquid Memory'. This was taken at 7:15 p.m. in temps that had cooled to about 93F in the shade of the house. High was about 97F and there was enough breeze to batter some of the others that still have blooms. Rebloom on 'Tusk', for instance, didn't fare very well. This one has been impressive all season. Scapes are a bit shorter on these rebloom scapes, but they are probably better off in the heat and wind.

Rebloom on Written on the Wind, one that I ordered earlier this year. I didn't think I was going to see it bloom but it surprised me!

Rebloom started today on Kaleidoscopic Intrigue.

I can add 'Yorktown Beach' to my rebloomer list. It just finished blooming and today I saw a new scape coming up. It will be the first time a late blooming plant has rebloomed. I should be seeing blooms in August!!

The Re-bloom of 'Embers of Vesuvius' is just a beautiful as its first.

I would love to see my Red Volunteer rebloom. Maybe it will. I also have Alabama Jubilee. You give me hope to possibly see reblooms on some of mine, Larry!

I had these blooming this morning: I have noticed that 'Red Volunteer' is a late opener, like 'Baja' it does not appear to fully open until around 10:00.

'Elizabeth Salter': I think this is the only rebloom scape on the plant and it only had three buds, I missed getting a photo of the first two.

'Alabama Jubilee': A really colorful mixture of red and orange this morning.

'Filled With Joy': This plant does not seem to have a high bud count or a lot of branching but it continues to crank out the scapes and blooms. That is something the database does not show.

I agree with you about Red Volunteer. Slow to open in the early morning.

I am still waiting to see blooms (FFO) on my: Lady Neva, Purple Rain Dance, and Alabama Jubilee (for a re-bloom). I have a bunch of daylilies that did not bloom for me at all this year so far. I am still holding out hope that they will. Paige's Pinata is an early-mid-season bloomer yet it just bloomed for me. I consider this late now. My early was beginning of April. Main show was in May-June. This is almost the end of July - so I consider this late season.

Larry, your yellow-green NOID reminds me of the one we have here and it is great, too. It is reblooming now and here are some others, too.

Everybody Loves Earnest last bloom


WB Mom's Cinnamon Rolls "almost a poly", I think there are four petals and three sepals. This is rebloom but not the last flower.

I forgot to mention that today I found a new scape on Stealth Bomber--is that great or what? This will be the second Hanson that reblooms here, and I guess it is because of this very unusual year with so much rain and whatever else could be influencing all this rebloom. Jelly Roll Truffle now has another two new scapes, another one on Strawberry Candy, one on Final Touch and I think two more on Dublin Elaine.

ALL the plants I acquired last year from Linda Michaels via Daredevil Daylily were outstanding. I think I may contact her and tell her. She may not be interested, but at least it won't be a complaint! I took these photos at 7:40 pm this afternoon and for a few hours (a looong few hours) my thermometer said we were at a baking 100F. Not a lot of wind. I think these rebloom scape blooms held up really well. It's the first bloom of the third round for 'Banshee Love Call' on the left; a repeat for 'Liquid Memory' on the right:


The dog just keeps photobombing my photos .

Some of mine were grown from seeds I got from her and they are really hardy here in the hot south! They are some of my favorite spiders for tall scapes, rebloom, and holding up in the heat of the day!
