Lots of reblooms again today. Here are a few of them. Some of the plants are having noticeably smaller, poorer formed blooms (heat related I think). Others are putting out the best blooms so far.

'Spanish Glow': Still down low in the foliage.


'Lavender Stardust': Also low down in the foliage.


NOID-Not David Kirchhoff: Still don't have a name for this one.

'As Time Goes By': A much smaller paler version than normal.

'Darla Anita': This was also a very small less colorful bloom than normal.

'Filled With Joy': As bright and fresh as always, new scapes in two stages still coming up also.

'Mini Pearl': Also sending up two more sets of scapes.

'Hot Wheels': The first set of scapes were very thin and short, the first rebloom scapes were a little taller and and stronger but still puny, this set of rebloom scapes is much better and holds the bloom up like it should.

'All Fired Up': It has done very well this season.

'Malaysian Monarch': The reblooms are much better than the original first set of scapes and blooms.

'Nagasaki': Much improved blooms with even some color in them.

'Siloam Double Classic': Still sending out blooms.

'Optical Delight': This has been a great plant in the garden this year!

'Spacecoast Tiny Perfection': New set of scapes are up.

'Mandalay Bay Music': Beautiful blooms, but the reblooms have lost the color they had.

'Paper Butterfly': Some daylilies just love the camera and this is one of them.

'Jay Turman': Another plant I have been well pleased with. Great growth and beautiful blooms.

'Purple Rain Dance': Nice dark blooms.

'Highland Lord': I forgot to add this in the thread of favorite doubles, but his is a nice one.

'Carlotta': This has been a super performer for the past two years, and just amazing this year.

'Soothsayer': This is another bloom that really loves the camera, you might walk by the little bloom and not even notice it in the garden, but it lights up the camera with a gorgeous look almost every time.

'Royal Eventide': Another plant that has performed really great this year.

'Gypsy Rose Lee': I could not ask for a daylily to perform any better than this one has.

No worries Atheabyanothername! I will be paying close attention to ones that work well for you as well as Lovemyhouse and Avedon. I like your observations that yellow like Suzie Wong and white ones combine well in a mixed bed!

Two plants of Plastic Pink Flamingos, each now has two scapes and one bloomed a couple of days ago, but today this is what greeted me when I walked out to check everything out--this huge, perfect bloom. It is much more "flamingo" than the camera shows.

Iszy Dizzy--two rebloom scapes and it is producing doubles.

Today's rebloomer in my garden was This Longing, and the bloom was larger, whiter and better form than any bloom on the original scapes.

Surprises in the evening garden--I should get out later more often since I completely missed some of these when I was out in the a.m. I must be getting senile for sure. These pictures were taken about 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. last night.



Reblooming poly Orange Velvet


Reblooming Willow Dean Smith as a poly--never seen this before, what a wonderful sight.


Strawberry Candy on rebloom with four new scapes, can't believe I missed this until now.


Katherine Caldwell rebloom flower this late in evening looking so good.


"Sundown Ripples" with excellent flower, probably close to 8:30 p.m.

I also found a new scape on Dublin Elaine, so the new scape parade continues.

I like that Sundown Ripples bloom a lot.

Stunning pattern and bloom!

This is 'Tusk' today on a rebloom scape. I also found a new scape on 'Banshee Love Song'. I'll consider it a third rebloom because the first rebloom scapes have been blooming a couple of weeks now and will be finished (I think) before this new one blooms. Having a third cycle of bloom on the same cultivar will be a first for me. Sorry about the poor quality of the photo, but the sun here is up and about early.

Joan Senior looking very pretty except for an ant.

A first ever rebloom flower on an absolute favorite here and it is perfect to me. This flower is also quite large.

Small World Snow Owl



Jelly Roll Truffle blooming all doubles on rebloom. This plant started blooming May 21 with singles only until this past week when the rebloom scapes began coming on with the doubles. The same thing happened last year, can't figure it out. I guess this is a plant with a "split" personality



Katherine Caldwell continues to crank out these beautiful flowers.



Leebea Orange Crush put up a rebloom scape after suffering from rust. The color is actually right, very unusual for my camera.



Willow Dean Smith, can't pass up the opportunity to post pics of this one, did I ever say it now has five rebloom scapes? There should be a nice run of flowers coming up.

I have a couple of plants that are done blooming. One scape per fan. So if there's a rebloom the new scape should come from the safe fan, right?

Pink Lemonade Party has rebloomed the two years I had it too.


Cool Twister started reblooming earlier this week. It was the first in my garden to bloom back in the last week of May. With the rebloom, it has flowerered continuously now for seven weeks. It has rebloomed most years here.

Being listed as an Early Bloomer and not a Rebloomer have me scratching my head today as this one is blooming again, in July. This is 'Night Wings'
