Lucy, I did see the Channel 5 Boston weather this morning, as I still get daily emails from my home town. This is very early for snow there. Seems like a record of some sort.?
Sheryl, love your planter and Sedum spath is really nice!!

Enjoys or suffers cold winters
Snow can be early, usually doesn't stick. This Sat coming storm is rough because the leaves are still on the trees, bring down branches.

Oh, I wish that was mine! The pic is from a place called Rushton Hall, in Kettering, England. I'm just hoping that it's hardy here - I think they're slightly warmer there.

You do? Where did you get 'em? I noticed the other day that you were posting pics of Aeoniums - you must love succulents, too.

Most of my pots are used as holding homes till I figure where in the garden they go.
They are easy access to the hose on the potting shed square.

Does anyone use the water crystals? I use then in my work garden pots , it really cuts down on losses because I can not be there every day to water.

I cut my gardening teeth on tender succulents out West. Lots of things I can't grow here. Blinking Glare They are my first ♥. I've gotten them a lot of different places ... Simply Succulents is a fave, other online nurseries, some in trade or swaps. Where do you get yours?

Nice area with the pots, Cinda. Thumbs up I have a black cat, Miss Boo. Big Grin

Very pretty, Tamara! We, too, had a real frost last night. Glad I had picked the tomatoes a few days ago. Wonder what will happen to all the daylilies in bud? Roses still blooming.

The Coleus "melted" in the Frost last night. Here are some remnants.....
the petunias were from seed, can't believe they lasted this long. All my store boughts are long gone.

My coleus are all mush now too. I decided not to try to carry them through the winter in the garage. My other things still look pretty good. Confused

I yanked all of my coleus last weekend. Perennials are cut back. Time for my garden to sleep for the winter. Temp was 29° last night, 28° the night before.
