They aren't big blooms, but my cold season plants India mustard and Hailstone radish are still blooming here. I left a plant of each to grow out for seeds. Very bright pretty yellow and hot vivid pink; and the foliage is healthy green, not gooey black - for the moment anyway.

My Knockouts and Cl. Cecile Brunner rose are still blooming here too, Cherie, as are the Gaillardias, Gomphrena, one butterfly bush, sedums, daisies, and a few other odds and ends.

Good work there, Tam. I have one ornamental kale this year ... and my leeks and onions are still doing well. So is the Nepeta, rosemary, English lavender, and parsley In fact, I had discarded an onion bulb, pitched it on the ground a long time ago, and just notice it's sprouting. Big Grin

But on the bright side, planting of semps in planters on the deck (they love winter and are hardy up to Zone 5, in some cases) and winter pansies
can begin.
Been working on that this weekend. They are so interesting to watch, as they change colors through the seasons.

Those are so sweet, Janice! Lovey dubby

I'm pulling out annuals and cutting stuff back today. It's a great thing, 'cause now I can see the weeds to pull them! My beds are so jam-packed with stuff that summer weeding is nearly impossible, at least right around the plants. This is one of my favorite times, actually, just because the ground is nice and moist, the worms have the soil loosened, and it's easy to get all of those pesky roots out....even the ten thousand or so tree seedlings. Hilarious! We had a mast crop of tree seeds for some reason this year - there's plenty of sproutlings if anybody wants some. Whistling

Thanks , but I am embarrassed to tell you the ''shelf area'' is suppose to be my potting bench *Blush*
Most of the time it is too full and I have to use the patio table.

LOL, Cinda - the last part was in answer to Tee's question as to where I get my succulents, smarty!

Nice, Janice. I still have mums, hardy geranium "Rozanne" and salvia "Coral Nymph" blooming. Everything else is shutting down.

The winter pots of sempers looks neat.I am looking for "Living Stones" or the little semps that have the webs in their centers.

Just a nursery would do,I am not able to trade.

Yes, Janice, I am a semp lover. I have a lot more but couldn't locate the pictures. Well, that's enough for now anyway since it's probably time for a new thread. Beautiful photos of your late bloomers up there! I have a few Cosmos still going. Bottom middle ... is that a hardy Geranium or?

I'd go with the Arachnoideum semps, Jo Ann, Living Stones (Lithops) are very tricky. They like it warm and dry ... period. Absolutely no tolerance for anything else. But they are from South Africa so that's their mother climate. About one extra drop of water and they are history. :(

I finally coaxed a bloom out of this one. I love them but they try my patience.
