I picked up all the broken pieces and put everything into a wheel hub I have there and what was on the bottom. hen and Chick sedum. glad I found that one. I think it fell off when he was chasing a chipmunk. Guess Most of the plants will be outside the fence.

I got some today and want to make a cactus garden.

I don't do things that bite back. : ) I see some of the container displays and they are so beautifull and interesting. I just don't want pickery things. : ( But I do admire them. They are wonderful plants.

This is my only cactus and it bites big time

I had one like that, I moved it to a ditch and it is growing very well there. I was careful that the roots would contact the soil. It was a brutal thing too. Do you have Yucca?? I have some of that too, it i also bad. I'm going to "Ditch it too" Pokes me everytime I get close to it. It's going and all it's children. Want one??

I have two kinds of yucca. The old fashioned one and a small variety that has beautiful variegated (tri-color) leaves. I'll have to take a picture of it and post it. The big one is where it can't harm me. Not sure how big the baby will get (tri-color), but it's leaves are softer, not so pokey.
Patti, I have to say that cactus is beautiful. And look at all those buds still to open. Amazing.

Sure Charleen, tell me how brutal and bad it is and then offer me some I probably want it because I do kinda like my cactus and it is viscous Do you have a picture of it? I am not sure what it looks like.

I'll be having some sedum to trade come this Spring, about May. I have some that aren't in the database yet. Will get pictures and add them in when they are out of dormancy.

I want sedums and semps!! I have burros tail, blue spruce, autumn joy, donkeys ears (RRM, you need those) and I really, really want hen and chicks and I want....everything! I have an acre and I swear it is gonna be full! Oh, I had a string of bananas plant but the cat ate it! So much for that one - "and another one bites the dust".

Sedum/Semp trading season is just around the corner gals. To early quite yet. : ) Boy am i chomping on the bit. I so want to get out there and start separating chicks from the hens and get them going. My sedum are just now coming out of dormancy. Should have about 10 to 15 trades in different varieties.
