I'm loving all the clump shots, great idea! My top 5 faves from this year:

'Heavenly Orange Blaze' (Click to enlarge to see the whole image)

'Heavenly Masquerade'

'Shining Mission' Just got this last Fall from the Nethertons, and it's already starting to make a clump. Also a rebloomer.

'Spacecoast Tigertail Tango'

'Dixieland Five'

These are awesome clump shots everyone! Please, please .... add your clump photos to the Plant Database:
The Daylilies Database

For those who are NOT familiar with the Plant Database submissions:
Go to the above link, type in the cultivar name, scroll down the cultivar page to the "Adding Actions:" box, than click on "upload a photo" which takes you to a different page, and click on the "upload an image" button (so you locate your a photo on your computer to upload). Clump photos are something I really appreciate seeing when I search info about any cultivar. Thank you!

I absolutely love all the blooming clump photos that everyone is sharing! I hope someday to photograph some of my own. While I do get blooms often within a year of transplanting, the heat here makes fan increase much slower. I get blooms right away, but clumps can take 2, 3, or more years here in central Florida (for me).

Jessie - Your "Heavenly Orange Blaze" clump photo is lovely! I have a thing for orange and yellow blooms! Bummer for me that it is a dormant. (I might try it in my evergreen climate when the price comes way down.)

Jessie--I happen to love another orange and yellow: 'Spacecoast Tigertail Tango.' I just got it from Maryott's, so I have high hopes for that one next year!

@jrbales - This is what I purchased as Crimson Pirate. I don't know what it really is, but it has clumped really well and will rebloom even in drought conditions.

Jessie, wow on the Heavenly Orange Blaze.

Spacecoast Tigertail Tango. A pattern that actually works very well with multiple blooms together.
(Light bulb moment: this as a trait for hybridising for the future: group effect from multiple blooms juxtaposed)

Debra - Most all of your photos should be submitted to the Plant Database. Those are the very types of photos I look for when I research a cultivar to consider adding to my garden. (I did see that some of the photos were added. But the non-duplicates photos that haven't been added, should be.)

Also, for those that may not know this ....

You can submit any photos you see to the Plant Database. The owner of the photos will earn an acorn if accepted to the database and if I am not mistaken, I think the person who submits it, may also get an acorn. Something to consider. I've had several of my photos submitted to the database that way! Whistling Hilarious! Hilarious! Hilarious!

It is true you can submit other peoples photos at any time, but I just feel it would be the polite thing to do before submitting it to check with the person who took the photo (not required) but maybe there was a reason they did not want some photos submitted. Fill free to submit any of mine (I need the acorns). Whistling

Are you a grower or a seller? I think ten fans would be considered a clump by a grower (maybe). I have seen sellers advertising clumps of three fans. I know Prairie Blue Eyes almost forms immediate clumps of fans (haven't seen many blooms yet though) I now have it spread around in several places. Others plants in my garden will take at least four or five years before they form a clump(if ever).

Your post reminded me of a seller that was offering clumps of two fans. Confused All I could do was shake my head...
