Sorry Francine. I checked my swap list and it has been spoken for. Thanks for the interest though. In the spring I'll have two more deciduous azaleas up for grabs: Pink & Sweet and Golden Showers.

If anyone has small, as in 3-4 inch pots, houseplants they want to unload, I can take some to our Master Gardener program at the library on Sep 28th and give them away. I expect no more than about a dozen people though. (No striped wandering jew, though- I have a ton of that.)
Plant it and they will come.

Krobra, I think I listed my spider flower as pink. Wrongo. A bud opened this AM. It's white. Sorry about that. Still interested?

@sallyg I have some Jade that I'm cutting back.

I could pot up, if they would do for you. They're easy and root fast.
One pot would be the plain red tip, and the other is silver dollar I think.

P.S. I'll take some Wandering Jew cutting if you have any available.

@Shy_gardner - ONLY IF you have enough to spare (because I'm quite certain I can find Jade at the stores LOL) - could I get some cuttings as well. I know you'd offered before and I declined but when visiting my mom she mentioned how she missed having a jade plant. Which is funny b/c my mom never has live plants but I do remember when I was little her having a jade plant and kept it alive for years.

Shy, I wonder if you might be interested in one of the Fairy Castle cactus babies I recently added to the swap tool list? (Chantell, you left yours behind in spring; I have it for you)

Looks like the black Extreme Sharpies went fast. I can get some more, but the price will go up to $1.25 (no coupon this time). If interested, please post how many you'd like, so I know how many 4-packs to order. (If you asked for 1 on the swap list and want more, let me know that also) Thanks!

I do love the silver metallic ones also for writing on black nursery pots or seed starting containers. I have 3 year old containers (left outside) with readable writing on them. If you write on dirty containers, the tip will clog, but you can generally wipe it and get it going again.

Those who got IRISES from the rhizome sale from me... they have been heeled into a tub of potting mix and should have good roots growing now. I'll pull them up and bag them... you will want to either plant them in the ground, preferably with a rock on top to prevent heaving, or pot up for winter.

@chantell I just have enough cuttings for one of Silver Dollar pot?? It has 4 large cutting in it, but they just don't look right if they are not full.

But red tips, I have plenty, Would she want one growing in Bonsai form & pot? or cutting in a regular pot? Or cutting in a Bonsai pot? Decisions Decisions......

Jill, I'll have to check that one out, thanks for the reminder.. I like Succulents..

I hope I will get a new computer by then and would know to do the dips. I would like to get the golden showers azalea. Would you like me to cut a some branches of my viburnums? I have 5 big bushes now, all fragrant. I am not sure now what they are, but I bought them from a company that only sells viburnums. They are so fragrant. One little one, the following spring I had bought it, and it was the smallest, it still is the smallest one. The plant broke partly because of the heavy snow. I was devastated. I looked for a stick and put band-aid around it, and you know, it mended and grew. Maybe I can get a cutting from the plants that you are giving away this Saturday, I will bring two selfwatering pots with soil, so maybe Jill or Chantall get stick them in them, they seem to have green thumbs, and I hope I will NOT forget to water them. I am still looking for 1 Viburnum, I bought it as a bonsai, and I killed it. I think it is called Walter Viburnum, has small glossy leaves, almost like boxwood, but longer, and about 2/3 size of my index finger, Plant is short, planted in the big cement be planted as a hedge, very fragrant. I smelled the fragrance when I was going by it at the University of Ohio, or is it State University of Ohio, in Columbus? I got permission to take 1 branch but it did not survive.

I know this will be disappointing but I don't think Darcy and Addie are coming to the swap :(

The weather looks like it will be 93 on Sunday and it won't be good for Addie to be in that heat. She had a fever of 101.7 on Monday and it ebbed and flowed for a couple days. She seems better now but still really stuffy and coughing. Tonight Addie is supposed to get her second round of shots tonight too, which will make her additionally unpredictable on a long trip. I really wanted them to come but hopefully for the seed swap.

Awww, poor little lovey. Sounds like she needs to stay home and cuddle with Darcy.

Francine, I don't seem to have figured out the trick yet with rhodo cuttings... but you can certainly take a couple of pieces of the pink one from Sequoia and give it a shot! My other deciduous azalea isn't doing much yet other than hanging in there. When it puts out better growth (hopefully) next year, I'll see about cuttings from it.

@tantefrancine - are you wanting a cutting of my viburnum? If yes...I'll mark you down.

I have an old plastic card table and a beat-up wooden table. Should I bring them for plants set-up? They're both too ugly for the gifts table.
