Dang, Im always the last to the finish line. It was just so so humid here today, I just didnt finish. Im down to the biggest size left to plant, so that will go fast, as Ive got them a spot ready. Im a little worried I put the smaller sizes to close, well I put them touching almost. They are in pots, so it cant hurt for one go around.
I used a third of my box of caladiums in these two containers. I had built a new metal arbor for my Passiflora vines and added the Florida Sweetheart caladium bulbs in the pots to add more color. It turned out so good, that I planted some more in two other containers near another arbor in my yard.

I have my first caladium leaf! I can't believe I have one already. I'm so excited. I have several shoots up so I think I'll have more leaves by next week. I can't wait to compare them to the Caladiums site to see what kind they are.

That leaf looks like it's Candidum coming up. As hot as it is they are going to be exploding out of the ground right now. Cooler night time temps are right around the corner though..
You'll be enjoying them for a while though!!!..
The ones I thought I planted to close together, I probably did, but boy did they make beautiful full pots. I was just out this morning taking pictures so I could remember which ones I wanted to order more of, and their heights.

You know, you are so right. Im just beside myself with mine, I have so much shade, they add so much this time of year. Wish I had discovered them 20 years ago when we moved in.
I have not Id'd mine yet, a good winter activity, but Ive got pictures, for just that purpose.
