It looks great! I see a 2nd bud on mine now, but 2 a.m. is going to be a big problem for me nodding . If the buds survive to bloom, I may only see the shriveled remains of a bloom.

@froggardener I have a Chas. Grimaldi in a huge pot behind the oak tree. Neglected it this summer but it still bloomed. The blooms are tiny minatures! I kinda like 'em like that! 'Not as pretty bright yellow as yours, which are perfect. Mine are a little washed out yellow this fall. Sad

@froggardener DD lugged over two large pots for her front porch this morning. We were able to fill the both with stuff from my backyard so that they looked like twins for her front porch at the new house.
The kicker was...the pots were too tall and we needed to find smaller pots to fill inside the tall ones. She ran over to Barton Springs Nursery (where we both shop) to see if they had a couple of used black plastic landscape pots she could use inside of the decorative pots. They did! And they charged her $12. for two pots with 15" openings. I'm sure these were off the dump pile too. I'm like the elephant who never forgets.....I think I'll remember that when they whine about people not shopping locally.

They were just here to pick up T. She said she'd send a pic tomorrow. I will send it to you...even if the pots look lopsided and all the leaves are drooping. Whistling

@froggardener So here you go! Remember, they're just babies right now. And the black EEs are drooping. Thumbs down Front of pots are about thigh high. Back of pots, higher.

Those look nice, Sandi, but will that Sansevieria live among those other plants? I kill them with a lot less water than those others in the pot require. Just curious how you manage that.

DD requested that I add them, and I've got a lot. I've never had a problem with overwatering Sansevierias.

The plants are only going to last in those pots until it gets cold. Then the pots will get "deconstructed" She was just antsy to get her new porch pretty. The front yard is landscaped with water-wise plants, so the tropical porch pots sort of clash with the rest of the garden. (She is, after all, an only child. Whistling ).

Thanks, Jolana. I'll have to take you over to see their backyard when it's finished. It's a mud pit now, but going to be really nice when landscapers are finished.

@needrain Here's a tropical pot with Sanseveiria that's been growing all summer. It's directly in the middle of the pot with colored caladium leaf partially over it. Even has some pups coming up.

Thanks. Overwatering is the only way I've ever killed Sanseveiria. I don't kill them that way anymore. The ones outside get watered when it rains and otherwise they might get watered 3-4 times a year. Not very often, for sure.

The Purslane that came as a guest in the Bougainvillea I bought a couple of years ago had a good hair day today.
