Karen, I would offer 25 of everything and you should be fine. Although, I order geranium seeds from Plant world seeds that only come with 8 or 10 seeds to a packet so I offer 1/2 a packet...It really does depend on what it is and how much you have to share. If I got 1000 poppy seeds, I just dump 100 or so in a packet, no counting out tiny seeds for me. If I get poppy seeds and there were 200, I would offer up probably 5 packets labeled as 25+. I'm not a veg. grower but I do buy veg. seeds if they strike my fancy for sharing. I usually do 1/2 a pack with those.

That wasn't much help, was it? Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Thank you guys for the compliments about my Angela, she is just as feisty as she is beautiful...The wedding was wonderful. I'm sure I'll be posting more pics when the professional ones arrive. Smiling

I love the balloons at the bar, Lisa. What a cute idea!

The nice thing about this swap is that if you want to offer just a few seeds of something, you can. As long as you post how many seeds it is the players can decide if they are interested. If I have 5-6 seeds of something left over that I think someone wants I will post that. The 'buyer' makes the decision whether or not to spend a dib on it. For instance, if you've got two seeds of some rare Mallow knocking around in your seed box that you aren't going to use, someone Angel might be on it like a duck on a June Bug.

I need to post some more seeds, but I probably won't have time until next weekend. I was just looking at the recent additions and noticed that there are a lot of great seeds listed, most recently Bixa orellana from @wildflowers. Way cool.

Yesterday must have been a good day to browse the offerings (between bringing plants into the garage and covering plants), I found some interesting things too. Smiling It's still just 30F outside right now! Brrrr!

I'm happy to offer the remainder of my Bixa orellana (Annatto) seeds, although they are organic and I could use them in cooking but it's so much fun to share. I planted some of these exotic seeds this spring and have two plants growing indoors.

Lisa, you did a beautiful job! I'm wondering what are the panels made from and did you make them? They're beautiful. Lovey dubby And what is parsley ginseng? Or was it ginseng parsley?

Something really strange just happened. I added Orange Grass, Hypericum gentianoides to my have seed list and it is sitting at the top, instead of alphabetically. Then I went to view the recent events for this swap and it shows I made an entry but it's blank. Shrug!

Okay, I just went and looked and the full trade list and it looks like some other recent additions might be out of place too?

Wildflowers,

I did not make the flower panels, the maid of honor did. She made each and every flower by hand! It was so cute. I'll post a pic of a close up so you can see what she did. She is a very crafty young lady.

I have no idea what ginseng parsley is, I got it in a swap. *Blush* I had hoped someone would know what it was and want it. Rolling on the floor laughing

@wildflowers Christine if you haven't checked the Availability box and have not made it ready for trade it will go to the top of your page. You also have to go back and add the check for it to be ready for this swap.

I have some that are in my list that aren't in alphabetical order and wondered why too. Just haven't gotten around to ask @Dave

Thanks, Ronnie. Thumbs up I did check the box and it did show up on the new events page but it just said I added seeds but was blank as to what kind of seeds I added. I'm just getting on line this morning so haven't checked the current status...

okay, just checked, it's about 12 or 13 items down on the "View recent events for this swap" and it still shows that I added an item and it is still blank.

Oh. I saw a posting like that on the weekend from MrsB. Dummy me. I thought she just got interrupted when she was creating the entry and would go back and finish it later. Sighing!
I'm going go look for that now and see if it is still there. Yep, still there.

Goodness! Thank you for the warning Alana Smiling

My mystery listing might be a Hot Pepper, somewhere between 'Bulgarian Carrot' and 'Jalapeno M' Shrug! Oh, wait. When I went in to edit it, it says it's 'Chinese 5-Color.' That's one I relisted from last year's swap. (Heads to basement to see if she really meant to list it again. Yep, there are enough seeds for an offer.) The description didn't come up after I went in to edit. I'll wait for @Dave to check for a glitch before I try deleting/redoing the listing.

Thank you again!

If I remember correctly when I was adding the seeds that went blank in the new events page, it first showed up in alphabetical order in my personal swap list. After entering, I selected to do an edit and when I saved, it moved to the top of the list. May have been a glitch or the timing?

When I look at the full tradelist most of the items do not have a link to the database. Is that a glitch in the system or are folks not linking their entries?

I can only speak for me. Mine don't because I list by scientific name whenever possible. I think I am in the minority, but I don't think I'm the only one. Common names first means you have to read the whole description to see what you have and feels backward, so I don't select from the pop-up list when it presents one. Either way people list their seeds is fine and I am grateful that the system is flexible enough to accommodate my preferences.

Sometimes there is not a corresponding entry in the database, nothing to link. That's an opportunity to add a new plant to the database. Smiling

For me and my morning glories, I have many that are not named and want to show my own photo so you have an idea of what you may get (most are open pollinated)

Thanks for that link Alana, just what I need Whistling
