Yep, I sent a few to you in the last swap. However, the Stachytarpheta jamaicensis seed that I sent came from a pack that I got from Ron aka @Rattlebox aka RedLeopard so I can't offer much help. The Stachytarpheta genus seems to be a bit of a muddle when it comes to plants being labeled with the correct species name when sold.

I don't know why I thought it could have been Esperanza; who is a different Audrey than I thought, as the source for those seed. Maybe because I've thought about Esperanto lately. Did anyone else study the "universal language." I've forgotten most of it through disuse, but it was supposed to become a vital part of global human communication.

It's quiet around here and raining for the first time in a couple of months. It's Friday and it's raining. Great day!

I was just having a look at the swap statistics and we are currently at 33 participants. People are slowly beginning to add seeds and we should have a great selection by swap time. If you didn't know, of if you have forgotten (I had) you can see the activities in terms of what is added, and subtracted for that matter, by going to the "recent activities for the swap" link on your initial swap page. If you are tracking what is added, that is a quick way to see what has happened since the last time you checked without having to go through lists.

I've got to get a swap on another site ready to post this weekend, but I will be back sometime tomorrow to post a new game. You guys are so smart that the games don't last long. The harder I think I am making them, the quicker they get solved.

I have a question. The title of the swap is "not from the seed rack" but you also say any seeds. Is it OK to list purchased seeds?

Leslie, I will answer for Alana, I know she is a bit busy...The name just pertains to your not so common seeds...the more unusual the better, so yes purchased seeds are fine.

That's right, Leslie. Really any seeds are fine, but ones that are a little less likely to be found at the 10 for a dollar display at the Dollar Store are the emphasis of this swap.
