Mary, that may be true, but if I don't eat a decent dinner of meat and veggies then I will be super hungry and go looking for food to snack on before bed, I eat a small breakfast, lunch, and a healthy snack of a few nuts, half a banana and a little granola in the afternoon, dinner is around 6: and I eat nothing else until breakfast.

We eat dinner at 4. That is almost lunch time for some people. Hilarious!

I agree I have to eat on my own schedule. My main meal of the day is dinner and I simply am too hungry if I don't eat my big meal at dinnertime.

Daytime I often work in the garden or go for a long walk with my dog. I simply can't eat before that, at least not much. I get hungry later. Always has been that way.

Usually not. I go to bed about 9. I get up at 5:30 AM. No alarm, I just get up.

I'm on vacation so today I slept in. It must have been 6:15 by the time I got up. We had to tell MIL to not turn the furnace on at 5:30 AM. There is no sleeping after the furnace comes on.

We are in bed by 10:30 to 11: and I get up at 6:30 but usually awake before, never need an alarm.

Exercised for over an hour yesterday and again today, I upped the weight so right now my arms feel a bit heavy. Hilarious!

I went to the gym and exercised for a little over an hour. That gets me up to my weekly minimum goal of 150 minutes. My weeks start on Monday.

I hope I don't jinx myself by saying so but my leg is doing SO much better. I did 10 minutes on the standing elliptical, 25 minutes on the seated elliptical, 20 minutes walking the track, and about 15 minutes of weights and resistance bands.

Worked on putting out the bagged leaves that I had in the backyard. Get those last garden beds ready for winter with a nice carpet of mulch.

Also I took my dog on a walk between working on the mulching. Am now done for the exercise of the day.

I did over an hour of exercise again today.

Karen, I'm happy to hear that your leg has been so much better, lets hope it stay that way. Thumbs up Mine is pretty good a long as I take the one puff twice a day of the Symbicort.

Good morning,

Tried mall walking on Thursday and got in over 6 km by the time I stayed and did some shopping. Will not always take a purse with me, but I did on Thursday as I needed some things. Got a dressy white top half price and also found a nice RED winter coat half price. Hurray! Hurray! I am so DONE with all winter coats being black, dark grey or dark green. Dark and dismal and all disappear after dark.

The mall walking was good but we are going to have to work some stretches or variation (maybe up the escalator which is not yet turned on and back down the stairs on each round of the mall just to mix it up and flex the feet as my feet were really sore at the end of it. I don't really think the terrazzo floors were that much harder than a concrete sidewalk, but they are very smooth and level while when walking outside one is up and down curbs and little hills and the feet are flexing much more.

The rest of the exercise for the weekend was an aquafit class yesterday to make up for the one I didn't do on Friday. Didn't dare on Friday because of the marathon concert I played in the evening - about 4 solid hours of playing the viola in Come Sing Messiah. Had a different concert to play last night which is repeated this afternoon, but I was part of a small music ensemble that is with a local choir and the physical stress of playing is far less than Messiah.

I am back from vacation. We got in some activity but also ate a lot of 'bad' stuff. Lunch could be worse. We usually had ham sandwiches and Doritos and slices of raw peppers. MIL likes sandwiches more than anything else and doesn't cook any except to heat up some canned vegetables. For dinner we were bad. We went out to eat or got takeout. It was that or more sandwiches. I'm not big on sandwiches, never was. For me, they are worst case scenario food, when for whatever reason, you can't have something better. Sometimes I will not make a sandwich and will eat the components separately.

Today should have been my gym day but I skipped it for other things. I want to get to Macy's Friends and Family sale this afternoon. Green Grin! But I did get one load of laundry done this morning, walked on the treadmill for half an hour, showered and dressed, ate lunch... Now I'm off to shop!

Did my elliptical. Had my oatmeal. 2nd load of laundry whishing away. Getting packed for our get-away. We're only taking 1 suitcase for the both of us for 10 days. Good thing lots of my stuff is "roll-able". Rolling on the floor laughing Takes us MUCH less room that way.

Well, back to the walking for exercise. Lily and I walked for 3 1/2 miles this afternoon.
