It was 58° F in El Paso around 3:30 PM. It was 39° F and windy around 7:30 AM. That may have been the first time I wore a jacket in a year.

We had a few inches of snow overnight, sadly it didn't melt as it was colder today, thick fog early this morning, and still only 31f degrees.

We had 31this morning too. Sunny though so it warmed up to a whopping 35 with a chilly north west breeze. Suppose to cloud up over night and have a mix of freezing rain/rain by morning. I so dislike freezing rain.....put new batteries in the lantern this morning. One thing I dislike even more than freezing rain is sitting in the dark at 5:00 when the power is out...

We had good snow, it melted Cy would disagree, good snow is at least a foot deep, deeper is even better and snowball sticky. He loves it when we get a really big snowstorm and he gets to leap through the deep snow like littler dogs do. It takes a lot of snow....he's 3ft at the shoulder....

It is 51 here this morning, which is not normal for this time of year. It did rain again last night. Cloudy and dismal looking again today.

I got the last of the nooks and crannys vacuumed yesterday and set out the Christmas I have in the house. Today I'll go to the garage and pull the rest of the boxes out and move them to the side porch for easy access. It's real tempting to get the tree in here today.

It was 32° F in El Paso at 7 AM. While waiting in line at the Border Patrol check point near White Sands National Monument, DH checked the weather and it was 25° F in Sand Point, NM. We don't know where that is but it couldn't have been far. It didn't feel that cold but it wasn't windy. Around 11 AM, I took off my jacket. I wasn't exactly cozy but it was better than sweating.

36f here this morning and foggy. Couldn't even see from the kitchen window to the far side of the display garden. Temp went up to a high of 43 with clouds, down to 41 now and raining again. We may see some sun on Saturday otherwise not until next Tuesday...

I don't like the ice either, refuse to drive on it. Nothing is flat in VT you're either going uphill or downhill neither of which works with tires and ice.

I love an occasional pea soup day. Haven't had one in a long while.
Icy hills. Not for me either.

It's 36 here right now and has been sleeting off and on. Quite a difference from the 50's we were having just a few days ago.
