Rosa 'Novalis' (aka KORfriedhar, Poseidon) trying for a 3rd round of blooms this year. This is a very good grower for me, by far the best of all the mauve roses I have tried so far.

'Whisky Mac' (aka TANky, Whisky) from my grandfather's garden. He grew 3 of them next to the main garden path and I remember sticking my little nose as far into the petals as I possibly could every time I passed them. Now, (many, many) years later, their fragrance is still the perfect, strong rose scent to me.
This is their fall colour, usually they look more like this image from the DB:

Rosa 'Julia's Rose' (aka Chocolate Rose, Julia, Pashley Manor Rose)
I just love the colour on this one! Lovey dubby

A few other roses have buds showing colour, but with temperatures dropping fast here, I doubt they will ever open. With a bit of luck some of them might freeze dry and I can look at them all winter! Smiling
Of course I talk to myself; sometimes I need expert advice!

@zuzu don't get me started on the way neighbours tend their gardens Grumbling you have my sympathies!

Lilli - nice blooms. Funny, Novalis hasn't impressed me - taller than expected with lots of buds but the blooms seem to have a real problem with rain and heavy dew.
Julia's Rose on the other hand, is a favourite!
