Nice blooms everyone, the only thing blooming here are a couple of seedlings, I am in the middle of lining out so most everything has been cut back.

I brought my recently received potted Maryotts dayliles with scapes into my garage during the storm. Two bloomed but I did not get photos. Will do so with the next blooms on the scapes. I'm am still cleaning up the mess and am in the process of rebuilding my rose arbor. No blooms today. More will bloom this week, I am sure.

I still have 8 buds to go on LAST BLAST, but I'm ready to officially declare Columbus Day as the close of my bloom season by cutting the scape. It's been a great season!!!!

First bloom ever on Texas Feathered Fancy x Baby Blue Eyes. Planted late last summer...will be interesting to see when it blooms next year.

Skin of My Teeth started reblooming over the weekend, but overnight temps in the 40s makes it hard for it to open all the way.

Last weekend, Prickly Sensation bloomed in my garden in Delaware and I had to take a picture of it even though it was night time when I discovered it.

If there's a bloom in October it doesn't make any difference what time of day you take the picture Very pretty Ivor!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't know about daylilies as much as I do about irises but would love to learn more about them. Seems a good number of irisarians are also into dayliles. Btw, what do you call daylily people? Daylilians?

I am impressed that there are still blooms happening for us northerners. My Margo Reed Indeed has been reblooming, but it's scape leaned out parallel to the ground and one of the branches was knocked off (probably my dog) so I haven't seen blooms for awhile.

I was surprised and excited, though, to have a FFOE today! This is Sir Blackstem, a replacement for an oopsie daylily I was sent from Oakes Daylilies. Since they no longer carried the daylily I had ordered, they allowed me to replace it with a similarly-priced item, and I'm so happy with my choice. It is definitely a healthy daylily and the fact that it's gracing me with blooms this late in the season more than made up for the issue with the oopsie order. (Thank you, Oakes Daylilies!)

FFE on Voila Francois. It got a late start. I also have some rebloom on Halloween Kisses coming up, but I don't think the blooms will make it before frost sets in.

Found this one yesterday at my community garden. Don't know if this is its first time blooming, or re-bloom. It looks OK for having to open up in temps in the upper 40's! Also has a nice proliferation starting. In October!

Power Surge - I could not get photos of the first 2 blooms, but managed to take some photos of this cultivar. Substance becomes really thinned and flimsy in the heat of the day! :
