Well it appears to have a lot of green in the throat so it could be a Magic of Oz kid. I used Magic of Oz quite a bit.

Just noticed a seller name Gogo from mt juliet tn

Here's the feedback http://www.daylily.com/cgi-bin...

Has anyone here gotten anything from this seller? And, if you did, was it a good and positive experience?

Thanks!

I have never purchased from Gogo, but I think he is a new seller because most if not half the feedback is for Gogo as a buyer not a seller. Plus there is only one page of daylilies. I think Gogo is new. nodding

Marilyn, are you familiar with Judy Davisson's daylilies (North Carolina)? She hybridizes for some very beautiful tall tet. unusual forms. She has only registered a few dips. I just fell in love with her daylilies a couple of years ago and have added more each season. She sends not just double fans but clumps. I have found this to be true with her new introductions, too. She also sells on the Lily Auction under the name 'Davi'. She will start listing on the LA probably in February and will start shipping sometime in April depending on the weather. I have ordered three of her 2013 Intros and six of her earlier intros that get sold out quickly each year. Here is her wesite address. http://www.picturetrail.com/da... Check it out. I bet you will see something you like.

I want to hybridize using her intros and make some of the same crosses as well as use some of our other UFs and spiders. I also REALLY like tall UF/Spidery daylilies.

I ordered a couple of Judy's intros and planted them this past spring. I was able to cross RAMBUNCTIOUS ROSIE with Carpenter's SPRING MYSTIQUE. The other two intros I got was MEAN GREEN and WHAT'S UP DOWN SOUTH. I'm not sure how the plants will do going through their first winter here but at least I was able to use at least one in a cross and harvest seeds.

Julia, we also have Rambunctious Rosie, Mean Green and What's Up Down South. We did not have a lot of Judy's to bloom this past summer or the blooms were few because either they were added in the spring or planted late fall, so they were still settling in. I moved all of Judy's to one bed late fall of last year. I expect them to perform this coming year and am looking forward to their blooms. Judy's daylilies have great branching.

Rambunctious Rosie and Spring Mystique should be an interesting cross. I also plan to make some pattern crosses, too. This fall I have moved our Carpenter patterned daylilies together along with some of our green throated UF/Spider dips. I want to do some serious crosses. In order to do this, I must limit the number of daylilies that I will work with and make hybridizing a priority. It is impossible to do everything that needs to be done once the daylilies are blooming. I did not take as many pictures this past summer, so I would have more time to do other garden jobs. Oh, well, life is all about choices. Whistling
