My NOid purple is at the forefront of this photo. The bed's area is 4'x8'.

Wow, Kate, that's the biggest Noid colony I've seen. Thanks for sharing!

And Tim, when that project all grows in, it should be quite the "NOids in their Glory"! Another reason to hit the Stoehr homestead for a look-see next year, I think...

Greg, that container of NOids is a great looking planting even though they might have been "banished" there. Noids on their own can be quite lovely!

Michael, your browsing in small nurseries even in other countries for Noids (or named) sounds like a great pastime.

Greg, do you still have that large velvety dusty rose one I gave you a year or two ago? Just wondering what it looks like this fall.

Wow, Kate... those are some impressive colonies.

It will take at least another full growing season. But look-seers are always welcome.
Actually, I was thinking of moving that red semp and filling in the cement container with a colony of bright yellow/lime rollers. I got that idea from seeing container pictures from Greg, Bev and Wolfgang.

Lynn if it is the one I'm thinking of, it bloomed this year - but it was huge and lovely! I can't find pics so probably forgot to take any sadly! Thumbs down And it didn't leave any chicks so it is gone.
Wow Kate that looks amazing!
Bev it is a challenge to stay on point here and NOT try to figure out what some of these semps are!
Whistling In my head I'm guessing Blinking
Tim I like the idea of a large and bright pinkish red to offset the green, however rollers are my fav so feel free!
Connie wow so pretty! That is the type of NOID I'm great with! Hurray!
I tip my hat to you.

Connie that Patty Noid is gorgeous.

Sorry you lost it Greg. I think I remember you posting that it bloomed out. That is probably why it was so huge.

I just used a couple of those Patty NOID chicklets in a new project (hope they root in well seeing as it is late in the season). By the way, the mom is long gone now, bloomed out.

Julia, your Semps among the Rockery reminds me so much of my previvous attempt to keep the hairy and tufted Noids in the shade of my rocks, so I dug this old photo out:

Julia, If you are talking about the really webby ones...NO, they got traumatized along with me when we made the move. I might have some evidence of a few of those noids somewhere in my containers... Shrug!
