Conversation in 2013 regarding NOIDs:
gg5 said:...which is why I needed this semp project to have a place to put all the NOIDs!

goldfinch4 said:Greg, that's actually a really good way to use up NOIDS. I use them in all my projects too. Maybe we need a NOID Club.

webesemps said: Count ME in for the NOID Club . Hurray! Hurray! And whoever dies with the most NOIDS...Wins!!

valleylynn said: Is that different types of NOIDS, or quantity of NOIDS?

webesemps said:… most of any NOIDS...

gg5 said: Especially since they could look different and possibly be from the same parentage! I love the idea of a NOID club!

clintbrown said: We had a wind storm last week and my Semps got blown over and some of the tags are missing. I think I'm in the NOID club now.

A while back, from doing projects, I had all these miscellaneous offsets of Noid semps lying around so instead of separate pots I grouped them into one container. Then I could look at them all at once. It was interesting to look at them change in size and in color over time.

Bev,

One of the sentences from Helen's book on the changing colors and forms of semps is my favorite:

"like seeing your best girl in a dress, then in shorts, then gussied up for a dance". I quoted that in my book too. So clever!

Thanks Lynn, and Thank you Kevin for sharing that little quote from Helen! Smiling
An update on the container of semps pictured on 2nd row: All the semps were sent to a new member in 2013 to add to her newly started collection.

It's obivious that I've been perusing and enjoying Semp threads from previous years. And in doing so, I have found a good smattering of photos of other people's Noids tucked in between all the prolific photos of named/ID'ed semps. It's for these unsung semps that I will continue to post these Noid photos. Smiling

Hurray! More NOID photos. Hurray!

I sure miss Janice. Has anyone seen her lately? Hope she is okay.
Love her NOID photos, especially the title of "These Easter (Noid)Chicks hatched"

Beautiful NOIDs Julia, both of them.

I've not "seen" her but I don't post/lurk outside of the semp forums. Some people get involved in other forums so that they might have heard from her.

In Spring of 2013, I noticed that one of my Noids started to develop an odd shape. It was "cresting".

Wow, crazy plant, Bev. Looks like it was on steroids. You retired it? Sounds ominous!
