Wonderful rosularia Julia. And they grow so well with the semps. Just have to love their blooms.

Looks like this was the last evidence of that Semp of Greg's:

I'm hoping some forgotten photos (from previous posts) bring back the reasons we appreciate Noids. Now some of you may find these Noids familiar and I apologize but maybe a few of the upcoming semperholics may not have seen these:

This one I had a long time ago and I’ve never seen one with the purple center and fuzziness again. Guess I need to start looking again?

Purchased a flat of these in the early millennium and still have a few of the offsets living

These Noids sure can accent a space, can't they?

Julia, that's a cool rock cleft there. Soon to be chock full and bursting at the seams. Thumbs up Just put more rocks in front of those rocks, plant with semps and repeat until all space is consumed.
Addictive... indeed.

Photos I took this morning showing the ring of babies; There is no apparent damage to the top of this semp that would encourage this odd growth.

Connie, I've been doing a lot of scrounging...The Noid info and sharing from various members is all over the place across several old threads. I wanted it all to be in one place to recount and re-appreciate all that has been posted so that new people can enjoy too. Also to post new stuff about Noids. Green Grin!

Might have to go out and check my other NOIDS. They are mostly used in my crafty garden art stuff (of which I made another one the other day to show off later).

No worries there Bev. Once they see how horrid my yard really is (I don't do lawn) they will take a quick glance at goodies and be on their way. In fact, I am on my way to Garland now for more hemlock mulch to put around the table area. Need to do it now because with my luck it may not be available at the right time come April, then I would be out of luck.

Maybe Garland will still have some goodies (plants ) on sale...

Nice trip to Garland's... this time of year it is very quiet there. Most plants are cleared out but they still had good choices. I picked up a pot of Ruby Mantle sedum to grow in a container. Also saw a very beautiful pink snowberry shrub that was calling to me.

Anyone coming down in the spring and interested in tillandsias they have a nice selection ranging from around 4.99 to 10.99 (a big fat one). Many priced right between.

Thanks for the updates, Connie, and waiting to see what you do with the Ruby Mantle! I got a huge metal basket in Aug which I want to plant up with Noids this winter. Maybe I'll just prep the basket and mix up the dirt and rocks and plant after the New Year. Right now probably not a good time to buy small rocks from Nursery as everything must be sopping wet. I just opened the lid of container that I threw slightly damp (I guess) soil in and was hit with the sight of mold, mold everywhere. Blinking

Bev, I have several rosettes that have produced offsets this year like you above photo. Truly is odd.
