And it never hurts to look, eh? It's a way to see tons of blooms and decide what you like the most -- and unfortunately it invariably it seems to turn out to be one of the expensive ones! But if you're not like me and have some self-control you'll be fine...
It always hurts to look.. Like with fancy hostas, I want them all! But adding a few each year is a happy thing, too. I want a few more stargazer lilies this year to start some fragrance now that I have a good upwind spot.
What am I adding to the garden for 2017...hmmm...hopefully ONLY bark, fertilizer and lot of tending. We'll see how long I keep that promise to myself. I have no more room without killing more grass.
I was going to add about a dozen that will be up slightly. I have been tempted by some new to my garden. That's my story and I am sticking to it. Hey, I don't smoke or drink so this is way cheaper and much healthier.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!

New to the forum, though I have been lurking and learning. And new to any daylily varieties other than Stella and Pardon me. They served me well, by covering our hill till I could retire and figure out what to do with that area. Now this fall/winter I've gone and done it! Have 30 varieties totaling about 250 daylilies coming. And I'm so very happy!
