Ooh, that's a lot of spring pretties!

I'm guilty of under-using these fantastic bulbs. Wimpy about planting them in our usually nasty fall conditions, I guess. Just a few here and there, just enough to get me lit up and going in the spring.

My mom is the better half of our spring bulb planting brigade. Here are some she put in.

DH is a much better gardiner than I am. Not being out in the garden annoys him, not an indoor person.

I believe they are.

I think I'll try to ID some more stuff today, it's supposed to be pretty raw and cold outside....so, I need some indoor "brain-work" in between household chores. (Bleh, housework, my least favorite activity.)
Oh, yeah! Need to make up and cook some pumpkin pies too. Hurray! That's much more enjoyable!!

Blinking Speaking of Neal, has anyone heard from him lately? I hope all is well. Of course, it is Thanksgiving week and lots of traveling going on.

Tee, how is your Lithops doing in the colder weather? Do you bring it inside? Does it change color like the Semps? Love that plant.

Yes, it's inside for the winter. Little or no water unless it gets too shriveled. It's down in the basement garage under grow-lights but that's just because that's the situation down there. I will probably bring it upstairs and put it on the dining room table so I can enjoy it while it's inside ... no room for any dishes or food there so might as well add another plant. Hilarious!

A little but not a great deal. It's not a marked color change like a Semp but it does look somewhat different throughout the year.
