As I was watering today I was surprised to find that my smallish bulb of La Paz is putting up a 5th bloom stalk.

My "Mocca" first flower is just opening. Getting dark now though I'm home from work so will have to get some photos at the weekend. Exciting!

I managed to get out of work early this afternoon so lovely to get home in decent daylight to see the first Mocca bloom. Very impressed with it. 3 more buds on the scape to open.

Well Mocca certainly didn't disappoint. Love it!

Sumatra has bloomed. It started out interesting, then turned into an ugly duckling, and finally a swan.

Golden Daylight from Royal Colors. Petite white trumpet form, cream / green undertones (depending on the light) with a prominent green throat. Prolific: 6 buds on each of 3 scapes from a tiny bulb. This is very nice: Unfortunately, one of RC's limited supply bulbs that probably won't be offered again

I've come to the end of my Xmas bulbs. Some of the outdoor bulbs are putting up scapes. Early, due to our unusually warm winter.





Torrone from Royal Colors. Another petite trumpet which was a late season, limited offering. In this case, the photo is worth a thousand words. The bloom is a creamy white with the palest pink striping, with a darker green throat. The pink is just visible on the back side.

I think they will be the same also. Emaryllis.com also made that comment, that they are probably the same. Living in a condo in Ohio, I probably should not order another amaryllis, but that's what I have grow lights for, right? The more the merrier!

Picotee, was hoping for more prominent red edges.

RJ, interesting that there is so much variation in the picotte edge. Is this a new bulb or a rebloom for you? BTW is that a snapping turtle?

The Picotee bulbs are new this year for me, Yes a snapping turtle, about 14 in front to back on the shell. She was making a journey too a pond across the street
