Dirt, that is all the snow you have? I thought you would have a lot more than that. Love the snow covered semps peeking out.

Jo Ann, my favorite is the middle back row container. The form and color is fantastic. Whistling

And this is what they look like 5 minutes ago. And it's still snowing. I would say we have around 2 inches now.

Well, it's really coming down right now...but, yeah, we've only had a few inches here and there so far this season with some melting in between, so that's what it looked like in a sunny spot this morning. Tomorrow will be a different story...

No snow in Salem or at least at my house at 200' above sea level. Am always surprised when I climb the 1000' to the Salem Hills and it's icy!

Yes, here, the next 7-10 days the overnight lows range from 5 below 0 to 25 below 0, And that's actual air temps. Wind chills add another negative 10 degrees. Ugly!! AND, some of the daytime highs are expercted to be 10 below 0. On the plus side, it's mostly too cold to snow.

Ooh, Kate! Sounds very "Brrr..." to me and I'm glad I'm not where you are. Don't think I could take temps like that. Anyway, Stay Warm and have a great New Year! Smiling

I agree We were sunny and 60 on Christmas for the high. Today was 68! Our lowest this winter was 16 degrees one day and we've had one 3 inch snow here in New Mexico.

Yikes I remember that sort of winter when I was a kid. One New Years morning it was -32 F and with BLOWING SNOW. My comment, "Why are we living here?". Of course fall is beautiful in MA but I'm too old for the severe weather any more. Oregonians are weather wimps!

The good news is that, other than 'Commander Hay' I never lost a semp to winter cold in MA. The Commander and I said farewell to each other every year until I finally decided I didn't need or want him in my breeding program. Oddly, 'Hayling', its kid, lived but even it really didn't prosper.

We are in the high 30's today. And yes, and am a wimp when it comes to cold. Didn't used to be, but sure am now.

It is 16 here - which is warmer than 2 days ago. Expecting about 6 inches of snow - so I'd better run to the store and buy some ice cream - like a proper Ohioan.

While you two go out for ice cream I will go get a canoe. It is in the 50's and heavy rain here. It's suppose to turn cold again this weekend.
Lots of plants really confused right now. Even had one of my daffodils blooming.

Dirt I really like the snow lily form of the left. Hurray!

Wow, spring plants blooming in the snow. Pretty!

Our temps have been highs of less than 5 deg. Tonight we'll see -14 below. Just ugly, ugly temps. Supposed to get a total of 2 weeks of this. So happy we have a few inches of snow - hope it's enough to protect the semps.
