Pentobarbital ?????? That's a barbiturate!!! How in the world does a barbiturate get into the pet food??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

People trying to put pets to sleep ,, Sodium pentathol (sorry about the spelling oops ) and phenobarbital are the poisons ,, barbital family of drugs , All except in very regulated or small amounts are poison to pets ,,

Aggravating , behavior . ,,

It says:
All Evanger’s suppliers of meat products are USDA approved. This beef supplier provides us with beef chunks from cows that are slaughtered in a USDA facility. We continue to investigate how this substance entered our raw material supply.

BUT THIS IS THE SUPER SCARY PART:
To date, it has been reported that five dogs became ill and 1 of the five dogs passed away after consuming the product with lot number 1816E06HB13. Evanger’s is proactively issuing a recall voluntarily so as not to risk potential exposure to pentobarbital in the product.

Those poor people who lost their dog because of this.

As said ,, Responsible on the part of the company , Poison in the raw material ,,? very concerning , very serious ,
People many do not think anyone should keep pets , so forth , you have all heard the same ..
Aggravates me ,, Sympathy , for the pet loss to the people ,,

Could be a routine type accident , fed to the Beef so forth ,, someone taking it dropped one ,, all kinds of possibles ,
Still , it is frustrating ,,

I ran outside and took pics while I was thinking about it. She was hungry too so it worked out.

The house is made of smart siding and is about 8 years old probably. The roof comes off on one side so we can easily reach in there and pull out bedding and spray for wasps, urine or yank out a coon or opossum. We've done all that at times around here.

Mingles is the largest now He is pretty heavy now probably 12 or 13 pds approaching a year and some months he is not that mature yet . He is a tall cat
tribble key weighs about 8 pds little block square
Camo started shrinking some , little smaller than he use to be , he is 76 in cat years , I started shrinking earlier than that .
