I took these yesterday but got busy doing other things and forgot to post them.
Can't remember if I have posted a photo of this clump or not, but I have had this plant since March of 2015 and this is the first year it has shown me what it really looks like. I did not pay any attention to the stats, I just looked at the puny short plants that multiplied like a rabbits and seldom bloomed, and I wondered why anyone would want it.
Now this year it shot up tall scapes with lots of blooms and fit in perfectly at the back fence. I have this plant in three different places and have already given some away it has been so prolific.
'Prairie Blue Eyes':
'Peacock Maiden': This plant had bloom after bloom that looked wonky in one way or another, but after about a week it starting finally making beautiful blooms.
'South Sea Enchantment': The blooms on this plant are always very attractive but they do vary in appearance a lot over time.
'Bonnie Corley': I think as far as consistency in making beautiful photos this has to be the best in the garden, there is just something about the blooms that the camera loves. However the foliage leaves a lot to be desired, rust does like the plant.
