Decorated the tree all but the candy canes as I haven't bought any as of yet.

Such pretty Christmas trees and villages and decorations. We bought a tree but haven't decorated it yet. There's Christmas junk, regular daily junk, mail, and general messes all over my house. Half-done Christmas cards are covering the dining room table. Shopping bags too- I just got home from shopping. Looks like someone ransacked the place. Hilarious! I'd better get moving and straighten up a little before it's time to cook dinner.

Tamara, I just remembered a truly great Hydrangea I grew successfully in full shade.
Hydrangea Quercifolia, the Oak Leaf H.
I'd like to grow that again.
Also adore H. paniculata, which I grew in full sun and is white. It is a tree form, and very graceful.
It turns a nice pinky green in Fall and looks great in Hydrangea wreaths with some blue ones.

All the pictures are so festive! Nice job, Cherie.

My swap buddy, Tamara, is quite creative and crafty. I think she's holding out on us with some pictures of her decorating. I remember the adorable sock snowmen from last year, Tam. Lovey dubby

You are so talented!!!

Love the snowmen you made and all the ornaments.
Great Cherished Tedddy collection!
You captured your tree and lights so well. Very pretty! Lovey dubby

I had difficulty capturing my window lights color...they are the old fashioned orange color bulbs...but show orange only in the halo...

Beautiful keepsakes, Tam! Love those bears and happy snowmen. Lovey dubby

My Grams had a covered dish just like yours.. seeing it brings back fond memories of Christmas gatherings at her house - it was the only time we were allowed in the White Living Room, and the only time there was anything other than mints in a candy dish! Christmas was also the only day they ever allowed a fire to be made in the fireplace in the White Living Room! Hilarious!

Thanks, Tee and Chelle!

Chelle, they are a mixed variety of Oriental-Trumpets, my favorite classification.

Chelle, I love your adorable Avatar and I can bet your son does, as well! Sooo cute! Lovey dubby

BTW, yours is so pretty, Tee. Did you make the cute ornament?

Both of you are so festive!

My little dance with Santa was all I could conjure up. Hilarious! Hilarious! Rolling on the floor laughing

No, I didn't make the flower pot angel. It was part of the gift I received for the Christmas exchange over in the Garden Art forum. taters55 made it for me. Sweet, isn't it? I love the touch of the moss.

Yours avatar is great, chelle. Thumbs up
