Yup, she's fine, just going through the weekly shots, which she said weren't bad. She claims that it's much better than 20 years ago when she was bit by a rabid dog (I'm thinking she needs to change her perfume or something!!!). No more shots in the stomach.

She even grinned when I offered to buy her a stuffed animal that she could use for voodoo... Green Grin!

sis says the percent of rabid bats is under 5%. Brown bats rarely carry.Fruit bats are liable, they live in South America,or at least not in my hood.

Glad your friend is taking it so well, Sheryl. That's what I was thinking when the critter had me boxed in and kept advancing....stomach shots - and long needles!!!! Ack! Awfully glad to hear that's not the case any longer.

Janice, yeah...that's what scared me the worst - the thought that my child might get bitten. Hope your friend's son is okay, too.

White-nose syndrome in the bat population ...Hickory trees could be one of the few things that may save them. It spreads throughout the entire population once it's introduced into a cave. Sad My uncle owns a tourist cave in Arkansas and is keeping a close eye on his brown bat populations....so far, I haven't heard that his have been infected.

We had a lovely dinner. It was an unannounced *bonus* for our little guy's wonderful reports from school. Lovey dubby

Only half of the planting actually got done today - perhaps tomorrow it'll get finished.

Ed tries,,,,,,,,,,,,to be a bah humbug. Heard him tell his Mother last weekend at the Coogan Family Christmas that it was hard to be bah humbug around me. I just steam roll right over him. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Got that right, I love Christmas but he draws the line when he comes home after work to Christmas music on the stereo. Always snaps that off the minute he walks in. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling my eyes. Rolling my eyes. Rolling my eyes. Rolling my eyes.
