This is the second order I put in with Niche Gardens. I usually find a plant I cannot live without and I do a google search so they pop up and I order. Last night I found out they have Hot Lips Salvia which I love and this morning I discovered a Phlox that I had to have, Niche had both so I put in an order and the shipping was 16.00 and I did not think anything of it because the packing is great and their plants are big. Then a sweet lady named 'Meg" sent me this email. We need more companies like this!

Good CS and a talented upselling!

I have gotten some nice plants from them but the website is not real friendly. There is no saved shopping cart and If I wait too long to go to check out then the stuff all disappears out of the shopping cart! I had to re-shop three times one night. So.... best thing to do is save your cart yourself to your computer or print it out.

The Delosperma 'Wheels of Wonder' I ordered all had blooms on them when they arrived. They were all packed neatly and individually wrapped in newspaper. They removed them from the pots, but that's not a problem for me because their prices cannot be beat!

Clint, are they listed with Watchdog? Are you going to put them under your recommendations?

I put them under recommendations today. They are so nice! They are in Nashville which means the plants won't have to travel far to me or YOU. LOL.

That's great! A new source. Clint, keep us posted on how you like the new Wonder delosperma. I was a little disappointed in the size of the flowers on the jewels of the desert, very small.

Hope they get more upright sedum.

These have larger flowers. I liked my Jewel of Desert. They had lots of blooms on them. I think the Jewel of Desert is a compact variety with smaller blooms. The Wheels of Wonder series is larger. Here's a photo of 'Fire Wonder.' It has a bloom as a plug sized plant. I believe the blooms may be about twice the size.

Santa Rosa is have a 50% off sale for pre-orders 2014. They sent me a coupon code Fall50 but that did not work and I emailed them. Now it is putting in the discount automatically. I am finally getting a hardy ground orchid plus a few coneflowers. Now is a good time to replace the stuff I killed during the year!

No more Santa Rosa for me. I have placed maybe 5 orders with them in the past 3 years and every order had a problem,wrong plants mostly.Late summer sale order of 5 Yarrow Moonlight and 3 desert eve terrecotta was the last straw. All the desert eves were lite yellow with terrecotta tags.
I'm done.

Jeepers, mine have been ok for the prices. I only shop the sales so it's ok if they are not perfect. I can deal with it, it is just more work. I have to re-pot them right away or they die, but I have never gotten any wrong cultivars. Lucky me right? I do know people who have gotten wrong cultivars. Did you email them and tell them about the problem, I am surprised they did not send you new plants. That is what they normally do, also Bluestone is good for no questions asked replacement. They do not make you feel like a murderer. LOL.
