It said there are bananas but not editable, they are full of seeds and pulp. This tree is hardy to -20°, so you do not have to dig it up. It is herbaceous so it will die down to the ground and rapidly come back from the roots. In gardens it is used as a hardy 'tropical foliage' plant, 16-20 feet tall.

Speaking of wsowing. Do you ever use the clear containers that Spring Mix salad green come in?

I haven't used the salad containers but I have used the deep clamshells that grapes come on. Holes are already there! They work fine, but I do transplant when seedlings are rather small.

HCG emailed me last night to say that Hesperaloe parviflora 'Perpa' PPAF (Brakelights® Red Yucca) won't be available to ship to me this Spring because of plant problems, so I picked these plants (see below) to replace the $29.99 of Brakelights (gallon pot) price that I already had paid for.
