I wish I was sleeping, I am working myself to death today.

Yes, Phil has made a couple appearances today. When I am working outside he will suddenly just be there and just as suddenly he seems to evaporate into thin air. Perhaps I should have named him Houdini. Nevertheless on one of his appearances I did get a shot of him having a warm snuggle into the 80 F dust.

My neighbor's ducks used to come to my yard to eat the snails ... then they'd poop. It was impossible to get the poop off the concrete patio. I don't want to embarrass Phil but what is your experience with this?

Thanks Susie, that was nice about Phil finding his Eden. I have only found one dropping of his, definitely bigger then a regular birds. That was on the first day I found him. Since then he has been very polite and is not going where I would see it. A most modest bird.

Margaret perhaps I could send Phil back to you with with Lynn. After all she is going to have such a nice stress free drive back to Canada.

Linda that is so nice that he is a tidy bird. Sorry he can't come back with Lynn because of live bird restrictions . However you could give him my address and directions to my location.

Perhaps if she wore him as an unusual looking hat they would not notice .

I love that idea Linda. Not too sure what the dogs would thing about it though!!

Yesterday I decided that instead of bagging the leaves off of my big pomegranate bush I would rake them all under the plant and make a nice thick comfortable and sheltered place for Phil to nestle down into. I was hoping he would like it. Late this morning I found him in that very spot. It seemed to meet with his approval.

Linda, that was so nice of you to make Phil a nice comfy place to rest, look how happy he is.
