Invest in the best pair of gloves you can afford. Good gloves will outlast many pairs of cheap ones.

Yeah - that's what I thought. Those are my best gloves and my cheapest ones, too!

So what's a good brand? I go through at least 2 pairs a season and I go without gloves more often than not.

Our garden club ordered from this company last May. We were able to get a variety of sizes and colors for $1.89 a pair. I had ordered a dozen pairs a few months before for about $4. a pair from a co-op and had thought that was a good price.

Since I switched to the Atlas gloves, I find I'm more apt to wear them. With the cloth gloves I just can't "feel" what I'm doing as well. I got these in a co-op too. Sue, I'll have to try the thermal ones.

if I buy good gloves undoubtedly I'll lose one within a week.
If I buy cheap ones I'll have them for ever.

Hurray! My very favorite glove, Atlas. I got a bunch in a co-op also. Love them. They last me a couple of years, even with putting them through the washing machine. : )

I'll have to try the thermal ones.

These are the best gardening gloves I've ever used, both the lightweight and the thermal!! I wash mine right in with my jeans.
I've also "converted" several gardening friends and relatives by giving them their first pair. Big Grin
