thank you LeeRoy
i was actively following the UK chaps several years ago when they were very active with Podophyllums
even received some from them but they seem to have lost interest in the Genus lately
if you log into their forum and search Podophyllum you will find my last communication with them in 2017

i have been slowly waiting on the previous crosses to come up to see what they are going to become
Kaleidoscope is much stronger and bigger and has many more flowers the Spotty Dotty
but it looks like the SDK's are a little more robust and seem to have more variation then the KSD's
so will just have to wait til they flower for me
here is an image from this morning

Dick you have so many nice starters. Surprised they are not more popular but seems they are getting harder to find. I was looking for Galaxy and noticed that less places are selling them and the ones that do have just about all as out of stock.

Bob
i don't know why more people are not getting into them
i am offering Spotty Dotty for less then half of the price of Plants Delight and mine are flowering size and age and will not be shippable next month for this price
the plants from China are awesome but the shipping is being held up because of the corona virus
they are being quarantined longer but they will survive it just fine

it is that time of the year with Podo's i am paying intensely more attention to them coming up
and one of the Pleianthum's has become a mystery.
the others are green and the mystery one is dark
Thumb of 2020-03-03/Strever/48ee73 Thumb of 2020-03-03/Strever/07111a

the only dark i am familiar with are delavayi
so i took an image of one of the delavayi coming up in the garden this morning
Thumb of 2020-03-03/Strever/fa8cdd

looks similar color but different
will have to wait til the mystery completely unfolds to see what i looks like Smiling

The pattern on Starfish would look interesting on the red color if it worked out that way. Or since you have had good luck with crossing with Kaleidoscope it should be worth trying.
