Clint - That's odd. I have an GJ agastache that gets mostly shade & still gets over 3ft tall. Isn't golden any more, though.. always comes up dark sagey green.

Here's my 3 that are true-to-color. Very cloudy this morning, a bit foggy, that's why so dark.

I find in my yard the GJ Agastache that get full sun are the lightest color and the ones in full shade regular green. The ones in part shade are somewhere in the middle

I agree. They need lots of sun to get the good color. I'm going to see if I can move the short one. If it stays small next year, I'll see if anyone wants some cuttings of it. It would be nice to have a dwarf variety of this plant.

Here's my original GJ - you can see it's pretty tall, but dark. I need to take a good pic of my others that get mostly full sun.. they're gorgeous! This is in my northernmost miniature rose bed. There's a mix of plants in here: bluebeard shrub, Bridge's Penstemon, the GJ, and various mini roses in this pic.

Here's my GJ agastaches that are in mostly full sun (get about 5 hours full sun a day). This is only 3 plants. This is looking down the row rather than in front of the row.

I think Terese grows it????

It also attracts Gold Finches after the seeds form.
