NIGHT WHISPERS didn't mind a bit of warm spring solstice sun.
MATCHMAKING MISS is even better in person. Sorry the beads of water have made it dotty.
JEDI SUE McCORD had a lot of wind before I watered and it couldn't handle it.
The blooms were jumping about in the wind and I didn't get a decent one of MOONLIGHT MIST. But more buds.

FFE on MOONLIT CARESS. Great substance. It had a lot of sun and wind b4 I moved it.

Also FFE on BOMBAY LEMON. Also great substance and a large bloom.

SARSAPARILLA was a deeper shade today. Still matches rose Crepuscule beautifully.

MOONLIGHT MIST again danced around too much to get a still pic. Even the above I had to edit for clarity. My 2nd camera requires resetting the date each time, so it is failing a bit too.

Bron and Glen - Some lovely blooms y'all are capturing in your photos. So nice to see!

I wished daylilies bloomed year round here. Rather boring on my property now without Daylily blooms to look forward to each day. Of course Irma winds stripped a lot of my plants of leaves and any flowers, so it is really a bit more barren than usual for this time of year.

I really get a kick out of seeing your native wildlife. The curlews are so adorable. And that water dragon is cool! Wished we had some like it here. I have the tiny hummingbirds returning now. Seems Irma brought more of them here than is usual for September, which was the only good thing left over from the hurricane.

Loving the blooms those last ones just remind me of romance and softness

Karen. Glad u like MATCHMAKING MISS. After a windy and warm day it was still looking good to me. However it wasn't in direct sun much. For once my photos actually do it justice.


At last a passable pic of MOONLIGHT MIST which is also in light shade most of the day. But I will move it closer to rose crepuscule as it too goes fairly well.

Almost missed this golden NOID. Very bright n cheery.

Wonderful pictures, Bron and Glen. They are so great to see now that garden season is winding down here. Those Bush Stone-curlews are so darn cute and I love how they hang around the garden. I assume they are not destructive, since you don't seem to mind them. This summer I had Ruffed Grouse in my garden and they weren't a problem.

Don't remember ever seeing a photograph of your garden from that direction. I like it!

AMERICAN ORIGINAL was almost open in the late afternoon yesterday. It was still in good shape late tonight.


Not properly opened even tonight was LORI GOLDSTON. Aphids had feasted on it drying out the tips of the petals. It still looked like a most impressive edge which matches the golden pollen. Sorry, it was very awkward to take a pic.

SARSAPARILLA was out again. It doesn't actually look yellow except for a glow near the throat that seems to be from yellow overlaying the light orange,

Also MOONLIGHT MIST had another 2 blooms today.

And KIMBERLY SUE was there too.
