It's a sasanqua Camellia, could be Yuletide.

Thanks again, Janet!!!! It does look like Yuletide!

I have some other plants that I took photos of, while we were in Los Angeles at The Getty Center, very lovely plants and I have no names for them:

That is a beautiful Camellia and I agree, it sure looks like 'Yuletide': Camellia (Camellia sasanqua 'Yuletide')

In your second group of plants, #2 looks like a Rex Begonia of some sort. I'm not real sure about any of them but I can't wait to hear what that Beauty #4 is!! I love the growth habit! It reminds me of a Kalanchoe of some sort but I have no idea what it is, I just know that it's gorgeous!

Tarev, Number 1 looks like a sempervivum and #3 is a Hellebore.

I don't know what the semp is but I have to find out, it's gorgeous!

The Begonia looks like a cross with Begonia masoniana 'Iron Cross' which I happened to be lusting over last night. There's a Begonia sp. on Top Tropicals which it might have been crossed with!

The next looks like Helleborus x sternii, mine has a little red colouring on the backs of the petals but the leaves look correct and not all of them have the colouring.

The last looks like Melianthus major or similar, one I had but lost, it barely grew here.

Oh Janet, Thank you so much for the ID of that last plant! I've never heard of "Honey Bush" before and it is really interesting as well as beautiful. I see it gets quite large so I don't know if it's one I'd want to add to my collection but gee, I sure do like the looks of that plant. I might just have to be on the lookout for that one! Green Grin!

I wouldn't mind trying it again Lin, it might have done better in the ground if I had found a place for it but I kept it in a pot. Last winter would probably have killed it anyway, we might not have aother one like that for 20 or 30 years so I doubt it would bother me again. Hilarious!

The leaves have a strong scent of peanut butter when you touch them, maybe slightly bitter but I loved the smell and the leaves.

In your second post, #1 is Echeveria agavoides
#2 is a dead ringer for my B. 'Tiger Kitten', scroll down for all shots http://davesgarden.com/guides/...

Melianthus major, awesome plant, smells like peanut butter just walking past it! I see them around about 6-7 ft tall and wide.

Yep, that's the one! I forgot to add the cultivar and instead got distracted by plantfiles.

I found a Begonia 'Tiger Paws' Sue, I wonder if it's the same plant, or from the same breeding for sure.

http://apps.rhs.org.uk/plantse...

Both are listed in the RHS..

I found another similar one, Begonia 'Leprechaun'

Leprechaun looks closest of all. And I have been on another plant lust journey! Hilarious!

Very hard to tell, they all look so alike. Shrug!

Kartuz is one of the main vendors for begonias. I have never seen that one at Annies (I visit often) but they keep photos of all their past stock online for reference.
