Hummies are back after our cold rainy weather last week Just been busy gardening here and there..finally warm gardening weather!

azaleas are starting to bloom.. that is usually my sign they will be here soon

Now, the longer these other species hang around, the more I keep thinking some might stay for the summer. I know Mr. Black-chinned wouldn't like that!





There's one that I really wonder about. It's extra loud. It was doing that back-and-forth point A to point B and repeat thing they do yesterday. Sounded ike a weed eater (ZING-ZING-ZING) kind of. Wonder what that species was...of course, I didn't get a picture.

Oh I hear that too Linda, the rapid zing over as they dash from feeder to feeder protecting their lair Which reminds me, time to get a new batch of refill, especially with hot weather coming about.

Sounds like the Rufous Hummingbird during their courting display.

Yeah, it was going back and forth in the air, not lighting anywhere. Have seen that before...but this one was really LOUD!

I love watching them doing their dive, looks and sound pretty neat.
