tarev , congrats on your banner photo!! I am adding plants to my new garden for hummers but need to find where I packed my feeder too so I can watch them from the windows. I had a sweet series I shot 2 years ago in my last garden with my regular visitor, can't find the photos on my hard drive right now but here is my Picasa album with them, click the first one to enlarge and see the captions: https://picasaweb.google.com/S...

My brother is a birder and a couple of years he went to Ecuador and shot some amazing hummers! Just incredible colors and plumage on some of these! https://picasaweb.google.com/1...

I'm loving all the pics everyone is sharing! The hummies light up my life also! Yesterday, was mostly Black-chinned. Not sure what this first one is...don't think the Black-chinned hummers do that tail feather thing. Yesterday evening the visitor hummers were all over, chasing each other in aerial displays. Now THAT I can't capture in pics at all!

Seems like it probably recovered and flew away. They have so many collisions with glass. Sad But they do recover from a lot of them. Thumbs up

I hope so too! There were two ever so eager territorial ones dashing in and out of the garden. I thought it was a tree limb that made the thud, so surprised to see feathers instead! ugh!
