Iris_Hoarder,

I've added 'Half Past Happy' to the list. Hopefully it can be located. Crossing Fingers!

Horton Iris Garden appears to offer 'Wonderful to See' for sale. Have you tried contacting them?

For others reading this, I've added an iris to the list for myself, BB 'Yo' (Ensminger 1993).

One more lead on 'Wonderful to See':

Joni's Dance in the Wind Iris Garden is offering WtS. I have a copy of her print catalog for 2020. Her contact information is on AIS' Commercial Directory page, linked below, and she also has a presence on Facebook if you use that site. Good luck!

@Hybridizer

Darrell, Nola's Iris Garden opened their website in the last week or two. They are selling two varieties on your "wanted" list: 'Darkling' and 'Heart of Ice'.

Thanks Robin for keeping an eye out for little Jiansada. Unfortunately Voss does not list it any longer. I had ordered it from her before and she looked for it but came to the conclusion that it was lost. She has also removed Brownie Boy, another I was looking for. Shrug! The search continues. Thumbs up

Sorry, I didn't read through all pages to see if this was already mentioned, but Innocenza, Mystic Melody and Summit are currently showing as available at Bluebird Haven. HTH!

Evelyn, a quick search and I couldn't find anyone selling 'Toasted Almond', so I've added it to the list. I'll keep my eye out!

MrsMud, thank you, thank you, thank you! I tip my hat to you. I had not gone through Bluebird's offerings this year.

@urania1
Mary!, please see MrsMud's message above, Bluebird Haven is offering three of the varieties on your wanted list.

Hi all-

I am looking for pure white and blue selfs- especially older, historical ones... particularly "White Queen" (Geylenkek, 1918) and also the somewhat obscure species such as the white forms of Iris florentina, albicans, kashmiriana and germanica...

Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'White Queen')

any suggestions?

Yes! Go to Bluebird Haven Iris Garden. I have the Florentina, it is a very pale bluish white. When you see the blank grid, just click on the letter that you want and the list will pop up.

She is temporarily sold out of albicans, but sorry, she doesn't stock 'White Queen' or kashmiriana. I received germanica, but it hasn't bloomed yet, so I'm not certain of the color. I see that it is no longer listed as well. She has quite a few historics not on your list.

Evelyn-

Yes, just saw your post on the other tread, thanks- she has a lot of the more obscure, hard to find iris and is a great resource.

For whatever reason, "White Queen" is just not included in other commercial sources... I will have to get lucky with a trade or buy from someone else....

I suppose the Historic Iris Preservation Society sale is over, but that's a good resource for finding some of the older ones.

Richard and Lucy, I've added 'Misty Moonscape' and 'Tyrian Velvet' to the list on page 1. Richard, Bluebird Haven lists 'Misty Moonscape' in their inventory, but "not for sale". Maybe in future years?

I've also deleted 'Darkling', 'Heart of Ice', 'Innocenza', 'Mystic Melody', and 'Summit' from the list since vendors were identified.
