I just read through this whole thread. Although I am not looking for any Iris right now, I am happy that I have a lot of vendor names to look threw their lists of Iris they are offering. Thank you for the links.

Good luck finding all the hard to find Iris you are all looking for.

I lost my Peking Dancer (Blyth) and would love to find another. It's an oldie so it may not be easy to find?

Dirt & Leslie,

I've added your wanted varieties to the original post. I'll keep eyes out. Good luck.

@Hybridizer

Darrell,

Eagle Ridge Iris Gardens is now actively selling for the 2022 season. They offer 'Branching Out' which is on your wanted list. C&T Iris Patch also has 'Branching Out' in their catalog and their website states orders will be accepted beginning today.

I'll remove this variety from the master list. Happy New Year!

Looking for 'Caitlin Hammaren' , a tall bearded 2009 Tom Burseen iris. It's named for a victim of the 2007 VA Tech massacre, and I work at the hospital there. I want to establish in my garden, and grow increases to donate to the horticulture garden on campus. Any help would be greatly aporeciated!

Hi Elaine, 'Caitlin Hammaren' is a difficult variety to find. It's already on the wanted list on the first page of this thread and the collective "we" have been hunting for it. I've added your name to the list in case someone finds it. That's awesome you would like to donate increases to the horticulture garden on campus. I hope we find it. Crossing Fingers!

The only place that always carried it closed it's doors a few years back and sold all their stock. I had really hoped to get it from them as I collect Burseens iris, but by then they were only selling grab bags and not selling individual iris. I will definitely let you know if I ever find it.

We have some spare Prairie Sprint, they are finally multiplying again, after 3 moves, including from MO to OK 2 years ago. I think there are 6 (I harvested last fall and then wintered them in the greenhouse in shallow pots).

I would like to trade with someone who has both Purple Serenade and Going Dutch. That's sbout all I have room left for in my garden. So I'd like to get them both from one place.

Do you mean Prairie Spirit? I have wanted that one for years! Tree mail me if it is spirit and you have one or two to spare!

Also, Welcome! to the forum!

Welcome MinterFamily!

Leslie: Last fall I purchased Prairie Spirit from the Iowa Arboretum sale. Just in case MinterFamily's is not the right iris. Mine would probably be ready to divide in a year or two.
