DaylilySquire is my neighbor! He lives about a mile from me. I actually started him out in daylilies.....

If I decide to do any more crosses in 2012, I will get some pollen from him.

Well, I don't know if he "loves to share pollen." I don't think I have ever asked him for any. But, through the years, I have certainly given him a lot! So I don't think there will be a problem. Since he sells seeds, he has a wide variety of daylilies. My collection, these days, pretty much consists of sculpts, spiders and purples.

That is really neat that you have enabled another daylily lover.~Jan

Nice to be a mentor figure to someone. I hope to encourage young people to garden. I often took bulbs and perennials to my SS class they are almost non fail.

Juli, I like your collection requirements. I think a purple sculpted spider would be wonderful! My problem is that I think everything would be good since I pretty much love all daylilies. This gives me really big problems when someone wants to know what my "program" is??? I'm just a big old bumble bee that loves to take pollen from any one plant to another!!

We have purple sculpted and purple spider -- but one is tet and one dip.
Don't they look like they should be crossed? Won't work without converting.

Well I just ordered the one one daylily that has been on my wish list for about 3 years now.....Free Wheelin'. I ordered it from Wilds. They have it one sale for $12....so I grabbed it!

I got one from my wish list too, Larry's Obsession, thanks to the link Juli gave me. It was $25 for a df. Darn I see Fred has it listed on LA for $19.

Stop it, I am trying NOT to buy more. I will be in Pensacola the first wk in April and would love to visit Fred's place in person while I am in the South.

I have sheets of orders sitting on my desk - that all they need is the check and a stamp to mail. Problem is that check......

Plus, I keep adding to them as they sit on my desk.....
