Irises 2017

This is a scene from my gardens on May 23, 2017. Beginning at left are Blackbeard, Ringo and Sunray Reflection at right. I saved a copy of the original photo and labeled individual irises in the scene.

I had taken three photos in this garden last May and decided to see if one could be transformed into a banner. The TB iris "Ringo" an old favorite of mine showed up almost in the center of the picture. There are two original photos. The first one is the original which gave me the banner.

The second one I labeled with the names of individual irises and was taken on the same day.

This is a beautiful composition and collection of irises. I like that they are not all the same. I do not like bearded irises. I like the Siberian ones. However, I can certainly appreciate good taste, lots of color and a good eye. Great job on the combination of irises you put together. Maybe there is hope for me and irises

Its easy for me to believe in miracles when science can't explain why a blade of grass has its shape and that is just one plant and one attribute.
