Going to slice it up with dinner later. It is a new variety for me. And in spite of the unusual name it is a very nice cucumber.

Today- more Black Cherry tomatoes, still happy enough with them overall. Will attempt some okra and shredded zucchini fritters or at least, okra and shreds tossed with cornmeal and fried. And corn on the cob. And salsa using Noid and Celebrity tomatos.
Plant it and they will come.

My Grandson picked a large bag of SunSugar and Sweet 100 when he was here for Sunday Dinner. They are really producing. Dinner included grilled burgers with sliced home grown Jet Star tomatoes Thumbs up

I believe you, Deborah!!! Keep learning and keep moving towards that dream!!!!!!! My brother was a kidney patient for most of his life. One day an older dentist friend of ours ran into our office (casual, tireshop office) carrying a large, rolled up piece of paper. Our friend didn't say a word but ran and jumped on top of my brother's desk which was facing a wall. The rolled up paper ended being a poster which the dentist quickly hung on the wall. There was a scene on it of a very rocky coastline with lots of waves, I imagine places on the coast in northern California probably resemble it (the photo may have been taken there?). It was a beautiful, but treacherous looking scene. The caption read "Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off the goal." Keep your eyes on your goal.

I have a ripe Goliath tomato and also a ripe Beefmaster. I bought some Cotto Salami, Beef Bologna, Sharp Cheese , and Sour Dough Hoagie Buns and made a Sandwich.......Delicious. Grandson is coming for lunch....Bacon and tomato.......Lots of tomatoes starting to show color so I'll be sharing because there are far more than I can eat. Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! I also got some Early Red Haven Peaches at a fruit stand. They have great flavor but cling stones are hard to eat....

*Blush* I was trying to be cute. I just meant, I did not grow those things. Cut up my zucchini and eggplant, tossed with some nice gift olive oil, sliced grocery store onion and garlic, gifted balsamic vinegar, and used the grinder labeled 'dipping spices' to sprinkle salt and spices over it. Then stuck in 400 degree oven about a half hour.
Plant it and they will come.
