I know I should wear a hat when gardening, but they're so hot! I have lots of big sun hats that I can't stand. Best I can do is a little visor.

I know!! It's like tunnel vision, so far I have not knocked anyone over.

Very cold here last night but didn't reach freezing. No frost out there either. Whew! Dodged a bullet.

Someone gave me a fancy garden hat with neck flap and toggle strings that fit behind the ears. I rrarely remember to wear it.It does push forward when I bend to plant or weed and I end up tossing it to the deck.

The woman on the right with the biggest hat is only 4 feet something. She should be warned for this year.

Maybe I will go the baseball hat route.

It's 29° here with heavy frost visible on rooftops and lawns. I hope my wintersown sprouts are OK.

Dag, only four something?? how can she wear a hat so big, seems like she would be a little top heavy. Good thing she was sitting down.
