I have a grand total of ONE daylily bloom, Little Sea Sprite has FFE. I am having trouble getting a decent picture though as the heatwave carries on relentless here and the strong sun is causing my camera problems so will try again this evening. It is gorgeous though!😊

Lots of lovely daylilies on here though. I have been filling builders buckets with plants from the garden centre to get some colour in the garden in the absence of daylily blooms.

I do have a late scape on Child of Fortune and one on what is supposed to be Boogie Woogie Blues but the flower buds are have purplish colour so might be mislabelled. Will find out if/when it flowers. The buds look as if they are a small or mini variety though. This year any flowers will be welcome.

Have had some disappointing news though. I had been hoping to get Indelible Blood from Germany but have been told today that it isn't ready to sell and of course by next spring we will have left the EU and it probably won't be available to me then🙁.

Nikki. You've had a rough year. I had Little Sea Sprite this year first time and it was a cutie.

I am sorry you are having such a disappointing season, Nikki. I hope Google Woogie Blues turns out to be true and that the weather improves soon. Also, I hope you can continue to easily import from the EU next year.

@touchofsky. Valerie, like the new name, I shall be calling it Google Woogie Blues from now on! Love it! That one came from a UK seller who I know also has Yankee Doodle Blues so possibly mislabelled.

Now, sorry about the distorted pic, guys, I went out to try another photo but the sun has bleached it out almost completely, looks more like Little Leprechaun now, two for one! I know a lot of you get this all the time but it is new to me hence the surprise. This is the best I could get! It had a lovely eye this morning, sort of turquoise-aqua in the throat then blue before finaly fading to purple.







And seeing as I have so few flowers to show you, here are my new flower design boots and sneakers that just arrived! Be careful how enthusiastic you are in your replies as I also have floral Dr Martens I can photo as well as a large collection of goth inspired boots and trainers (definitely NOT floral inspired!🤣)

Take a brolly into the garden with you and shade that puppy or your camera lens or both from the wicked sun. A white one is best, silver or black is second and don't take a brightly colored one.
