I certainly did notice and as those iris grow into nice big clumps you will be having a stunner of a display. Plus you will not have to divide nearly as often this way.

Soon, soon, soon I will have iris starting to bloom. Stalks all over the place and the iris plants look great this year again.

I am just beginning to see stalks on my TB's. The one that will bloom first, bloomed last year on Memorial Day. Not only did I thin it out last fall, I transplanted it to a new bed. And it has grown and has a bunch of stalks almost ready to open I suspect it will happen next week, almost a month sooner than previously.

Your beds will be gorgeous in bloom Rita ~Jan

That first pictures is of the backyard iris bed that I planted in late summer of 2010. So last year was the first time it bloomed for me. But what a difference a year makes. This year those iris have truely taken off!

The backyard iris bed has TB iris with dutch iris planted in between. Those dutch iris have just started to bloom and the TB in there should start fairly soon.
