Someone was confusing all my green and red lipped cyms, so here is a comparison.
Here's the NOID.

That Laelia anceps alba again. She is so photogenic. I'm wondering if she is a 'Dickinson's.' http://www.inthecountrygardena...

Nice!
I really like the Slc Fire Magic.
About the red Cymbidium - have you ever compared it to Cymbidium Nut?

This cym is more purple. I have Cym Nut 'Red Beauty' which is even redder.

Ohh I like THAT one! That's eye-catching!

I said some weeks ago that I would be unbearable if I ever get my cold growing Cym to spike!
I am watching 4!! spikes on my Cym Mimi 'Mary Bea'. I got this as a beautiful Christmas present years ago, if I remember correctly, it came with 6 or 7 spikes. It was gorgeous. And then it just added growth and never flowered again. I was ready to give up and look for a good home for it. But, last Fall I kept it with the Den kingianums in the garage, and when I had to keep that door closed during the day, it was moved upstairs into the sunny and cool bedroom. A few weeks ago I noticed a spike, then another and then there were 4. I hope they start opening this week. I will be very happy!! And unbearable!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

Oh that's great Ursula!!!!! Thumbs up
I guess we are both figuring out the cyms this year. Obviously, I am already unbearable. Look at this cubit! It's covered with cyms! I bet you'll get more now that you've got the hang of it.
I just counted 4 more spikes on this one.

Tonite's orchids. I thought this was sorta off white when I got it but the new buds are green. Since I love green flowers, no problem.
