I can smell the scent of Onc. Ornithorhynchum from here. I used to have a cross but it died. Sad

That is one showgirl!! And keep sniffing!
I have nothing new happening inside. Tapping my fingers for the Schoenorchis fragrans and a few others. Phrag Noirmont is down to 2 blooms now. The outside is blooming madly though!

My O. ornithorhynchum is about to bloom too! Must be the season! It should smell within the next couple of days.

Great Catt display Ursula and Kathy!

My new orchids arrived today...they are pretty small so at least 2 years before they bloom. However, the Dendrobium is quite large and had bloomed before so hopefully there will be plenty of blooms next season. The dendrobium is a nobile type.

More stuff is coming into bloom around here.
Here is my Asctm curvifolium with 2 spikes this year, sporting a few collapsed and damaged blooms.

And here is the reason for the removed pollinia and cuddled-to-death blooms:
Two very large Bumble bees moved into the greenhouse and I have not been able to relocate them. Actually one of them sat on a Cactus which I carefully transported with its tenant onto the deck. Fine. A few hours later I stepped out again on the deck with a couple of plants in my hand ( which I had to place on the table before closing the door). I swear that Bee saw that the door was open and flew straight back in. Rolling my eyes.

Hugging the bloom -

Now why don't you just grab that Bee, while it is sitting so quietly you ask? I tried - without success.

Went to Brattleboro to Windham Flowers for a pot for my new Cym. goeringii 'Mebina' for when the pumice arrives. I forgot that it was Mother's Day and that the place would be filled with orchids. I managed 2 plants and the Chinese purple clay pot.
Here's one, no tag. I was told it is a zygo x. The flowers are quite small.
