No snow here thank goodness. It rained and rained and rained much of the day yesterday and then all night into this morning. Talk about soaked. Everything is soaked but that is good as we needed the rain.

Catmints here are nicely leafed out and growing but no blooms this early. I am sure it won't be too long till they start.

Glad you got some rain, Lucy. Smiling

That seems like a lot to get at one time??

We're still having an unusually dry spring here. I've actually been able to dig and plant in April this year instead of waiting 'til the end of May for the soil to be workable.

The first wren showed up here yesterday! Hurray! A definite sign that the frosty weather will soon be over!! It's about time for our hummingbird feeders to be filled and hung; those little sweeties will be along shortly. Lovey dubby

You know, I had the thought that I should have seen you!!! Hilarious! Funny!

I went to Spring Creek yesterday and bought some cheese, but I didn't see any plants that I needed, can you believe that???! Rolling on the floor laughing

They're calling for rain late Wednesday, and then again on Friday, so I think I'll toss out some seeds tomorrow. I lost a bunch of my short variety poppy sprouts due to a lack of temperature controls in the SpringHouse, so at this point I may as well direct sow and hope for the best.

You get a few of the wood hyacinths and they really multiply. Put on a fantastic show each spring!

That red double tulip, UNCLE TOM, is my favorite of all my tulips this year. Of course you get one year out of them, they don't come back so I think I might just reorder it and plant in exactly the same spot for next year.

My Mountain Ash fruit trees that I bought from One Green World a while back have arrived today so I have to go out and unpack and plant them.

Thanks, Chelle.

It is a yellow David Austin. I will go look at the tag tomorrow and get the name. Great fragrance and recurrent bloomer.
