Gorgeous pictures!

An ice storm took half of our wisteria last winter, but what's left is blooming better than ever. We were musing over that just the other day; we're thinking that it must have enjoyed the shock.

Years and years ago I had a bunch of Wysteria here in semi tree form but given time the trunks rotted and I had to dig them up and out. This one is a seedling of those others and is doing great as a single trunk small tree. Of course it does send out runners from the base that continually have to be cut off but otherwise it is quite nice. Love it when it blooms.

Hah, Tam!

It's not much of a showplace here today. As I glance out the window, I see that we're in that lovely stage of naked dandelion stalks looming over nice, smooth and short-cut lawn; it looks awful! Rolling on the floor laughing It'll take another cut or two to pretty things up for the year.

My first large-headed decorative alliums are getting some nice buds though...I'm excited about those! I'm not sure what I'm going to do about hiding their leaves later on when they start to decline...they're taller and larger than I'd planned on, and they're in a small raised bed. Blinking Hopefully, the variegated grass will help them blend in until they disappear.

We had a young'un over for a play-date yesterday, so I didn't get any yard work done.

I still haven't made it in to my favorite nursery yet this year, usually I'm there for pre-sales a week before they open. Hilarious! They've already had their doors open now for a couple of weeks... Rolling my eyes.

My catmint isn't blooming, either, it just has buds. It's in only part sun though, most likely the reason.

I haven't tied my daffodils. They usually blend away behind all those nursery plants that I haven't shopped for yet. Hilarious! I don't really need to shop at all - I've plenty of seedlings, but you know how it goes... Rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks for the tip, however; I may just try that this year. Big Grin

I love Jone's GH in Churubusco! Hurray! The plants are always big and healthy, and the price is right. They carry a minimum of perennials, but have some great bedding and container plants. The owners can usually be coaxed into holding tender purchases until you can take them, too - a definite plus!

Nope, but I'm there...soonest! We've discovered that there are some cheeses we'd love to have other than just for special holidays.

Semps are very pretty right now, and they're procreating! Hurray!
