Bill, they will bloom. Lots of new growth is always a good thing!
Some of my Orchids took ( take) years to bloom for the first time for me. But once they start blooming, they usually will continue to do so. I think sometimes certain orchids really need to take a long time to adjust to our conditions. As long as the plant looks healthy with good roots and is growing, it will bloom sooner or later, unless the conditions are really off.
And those now 2! plants of Encyclia ( Euchile) citrina, they must be thinking that they look pretty without blooms
( one of them for more years than I can remember, that's why I bought a second plant thinking I have a dud) - I may have to threaten them with a suitable salad dressing. My Winters are surely too warm in the greenhouse. But I will find perhaps a better spot for them.
Carol will most certainly bloom her new plant before mine!
